This is the same natural process and material as the pearl, and takes up to seven years to form. Different specimen has different color combination that makes it very eye-catching.  The beautiful iridescent colors you see in mother-of-pearl are caused by reflective light bouncing of the various layers of growth in the shell. Seamless Shell Tiles & Sheetings are made from natural mother of pearl shells or precious sea shells. These tiles are made by the finest shell craftsman. Seamless shells are carefully processed, cleaned, polished and perfectly cut to make beautiful tiles. Available in different size and design. Such tiles & sheetings are backed with reinforced fiberglass mesh with overall thickness in 2.5mm. Maximum slabs can reach up to 2440x1220x3mm.
